An effective agreement is a legal arrangement between a potential buyer and the home seller. Laws vary from state to state, but to be legally binding, the agreement may require consideration. This consideration is to be held in the closing agent’s escrow account pending to fulfillment of conditions in the agreement. Keep written records of everything for the sake of clarity and try to stick to the timeline outlined in the agreement.
